BLACK AND WHITE BALL


The annual Black and White Ball is the night for people in the Rim Country to share good will over an elegant meal, impact health resources through their participation in raffles and the silent auction, and dance the night away dressed to the nines. Proceeds from the Black and White Ball benefit dialysis patient’s with social service assistance grants. The Black and White Ball is held annually on a Saturday evening in January.  The date for 2012 is January 21. Tickets are $200 each or a table of 8 for $1,500. Call the MHA office at 928.472.2588 for reservations.  

 




 

   Volunteers and community support put the FUN in Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Memorial Fund events. Under the auspices of the Mogollon Health Alliance, GLH sponsors an annual costume ball, ropin’ rodeo, golf and softball tournaments.

Gracie Haught Classic Softball Tournament Volunteers and community support put the FUNds Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Memorial Fund events. Under the auspices of the Mogollon Health Alliance, GLH sponsors an annual costume ball, ropin’ rodeo, golf and softball tournaments.
 

The seventh annual softball tournament will take place at Rumsey Park in Payson in March 18 and 19, 2011.

Kids Standing for Kids Lemonade Stands
Kids Standing for Kids Lemonade Stands Under the heat of a summer sun what could be tastier than a cold glass of lemonade?The Lemonade stands came about when children asked their parents who were volunteering for the GLH Fund what they could do to raise money. Saturday, July 30, 2011, children will host lemonade stands at a variety of locations around the Rim Country.

Gracie Lee Haught Memorial Ropin’ GLH Memorial Ropin’ Everyone’s invited to the rodeo!This event is for families. The chute gates open the first weekend of August in 2010, (the week prior to the World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo.) It includes carnival booths and dunk tanks, so while dad ropes or mom races the children can play. There are egg tosses, mutton busting and boot scrambles. In the evening, a tent is raised on the rodeo grounds for a barbeque and an auction.

GRACIE’S ANNUAL COSTUME PARTY Saturday, October 16, 2010 the annual costume party begins at 6 p.m. at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino at 6 p.m. with food, laughter, auctions, dancing as well as prizes for those people with the best costumes. Admission is $20.
